Mr. Weber:
In recent years, has gained national recognition with his townscapes panoramic print series. Begun in 1980, these prints are derived from watercolors, painted on location, making it possible to capture the particular character of a community, as well as learn a good bit of its history, by talking to a good many people.
To date, Leonard Weber has painted approximately 50 cities, towns, villages, restorations and historic sites, many of which have been commissions.
He has been invited to Japan, twice, for a 10 city tour of his watercolors. (Nov. 1999) (Oct. 2002).
Subsecuent to painting Annapolis, Maryland, in 1993, Leonard Weber was made an honorary citizen of that city, by Gov, Schaeffer.
His prints can be seen in Portugal, England, Taiwan and of course Japan and throughout the U.S.A.
Leonard Weber lives in Monterey, Massachusetts, a Berkshire village, where he maintains a gallery.
